Order Processing
Once your order is placed and payment is confirmed, our team gets to work handcrafting and preparing your items for shipment.
- Orders placed before 12:00 PM on a business day are typically processed the same day.
- Orders placed after 12:00 PM, on weekends, or on holidays will begin processing on the next business day.
- You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after purchase.
- A shipping confirmation email with your tracking number will be sent once your order leaves our hands.
Shipping Times
We ship to all regions of the Dominican Republic and select international destinations. Delivery estimates begin from the date your order is shipped, not the date it is placed.
- Domestic (Dominican Republic): 2–5 business days after shipment.
- International Orders: Delivery times vary by destination. Please contact us before placing an international order for an estimate.
- Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to carrier disruptions, weather, or peak seasons.
- ABC Organic Scents is not responsible for delays once the package is in the hands of the carrier.
📅 Business Days: Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding Dominican Republic public holidays. Weekend orders are processed on the following Monday.
Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location, package weight, and selected shipping method. Exact rates will always be shown before you complete your purchase — no surprises.
- Free shipping may be available on qualifying orders. Check our homepage for current promotions.
- International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or additional fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
- We are not responsible for any customs delays or additional fees incurred at the border.
Order Tracking
Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email containing your tracking number and a link to track your package in real time.
- Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to update after your shipping confirmation email is sent.
- If your tracking link shows no movement for more than 5 business days, please contact us so we can investigate.
- You can also reach out to us at any time with your order number and we will provide a status update.
Can't find your tracking email? Check your spam or junk folder. If it's not there, email us at [email protected] with your order number and we'll resend it right away.
All Sales Are Final
All Sales Are Final — No Returns or Exchanges
Due to the handcrafted and personal nature of our scented products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once an order has been placed and confirmed.
We take great care to describe each product in full detail — including scent notes, size, burn time, and ingredients — so that you can make a fully informed purchase. We encourage you to read all product descriptions carefully before completing your order.
- Orders cannot be cancelled once payment has been processed.
- We do not accept returns of any products, whether opened or unopened.
- No exchanges are offered for different scents, sizes, or product types.
- Dissatisfaction with a scent preference does not qualify for a refund, as fragrance experience is subjective.
- No refunds will be issued for orders that have been shipped or delivered.
The sole exception to our all-sales-final policy is if you receive a product that is:
- Visibly damaged or broken upon delivery, or
- Incorrect (a different item than what you ordered).
In these cases only, please see Section 6 below.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
We package every order with care to ensure it arrives safely. However, if your order arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, we will make it right.
- You must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photo evidence of the damage or incorrect item.
- Please email [email protected] with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos.
- Once verified, we will ship a replacement of the same product at no additional cost to you.
- If the item is no longer in stock, a store credit of equal value will be issued.
- Claims submitted after the 48-hour window will not be eligible for replacement.
Please note: Minor cosmetic variations in handcrafted products such as slight color variation, wax texture, or label placement are normal characteristics of small-batch artisan goods and do not qualify as damage.
Lost or Stolen Packages
ABC Organic Scents is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after the carrier confirms delivery to the address provided at checkout.
- If your tracking shows "delivered" but you have not received your package, please first check with neighbors, building reception, or a safe drop location.
- If the package cannot be located, contact your local carrier directly to file a missing package claim.
- If the tracking shows your package is lost in transit (never delivered), contact us within 7 business days of the expected delivery date and we will open an investigation with the carrier.
- Packages returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer will require a re-shipping fee to be resent.
📍 Address Accuracy: Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect addresses entered at checkout.
